In 2026, Huadu Library successfully launched its special reading-themed activity named “Stay with Books, Walk with Shadows”, a core program under the library-school cooperation initiative to boost youth reading culture and strengthen resource sharing between local schools and the public library. The event was hosted in the library’s multi-functional lecture hall equipped with a large high-definition indoor LED display screen, which served as the core visual carrier throughout the whole activity.
The spacious multi-function hall was fully prepared in advance for the grand gathering. A giant seamless LED wall occupied the central wall of the venue. At the top of the screen, eye-catching red electronic text clearly presented the full title: the 2026 Huadu Library Library-School Cooperation Activity “Stay with Books, Walk with Shadows”. The main display area showcased a stunning artistic background featuring futuristic architectural landscapes under a dreamy sunset glow, matched with traditional Chinese knot patterns that embodied cultural charm. At the bottom of the screen, warm literary quotes “Spring breeze greets guests, prosperity meets visitors” and the English phrase “Spring Equinox” were displayed, creating an elegant, peaceful literary atmosphere fitting for a reading event.
The venue layout was well-organized to accommodate teachers and student participants from partner schools. Rows of comfortable red seats were neatly arranged facing the large LED screen, ready for attendees to watch reading sharing videos, literary lectures and interactive presentation materials shown on the high-performance display. Along the bottom edge of the screen, uniform yellow and white storage lockers were lined up, while auxiliary equipment including a wall-mounted small television and a printer cabinet were placed on both sides of the hall, forming a complete, functional event space.
This library-school cooperation activity aims to break the resource barrier between schools and public libraries. Through themed reading sharing, book recommendation sessions and literary exchange workshops, the library provides abundant book resources, professional reading guidance and high-quality activity venues for students. The large LED screen greatly improved the presentation effect of literary PPTs, reading promotion short films and event live broadcasting, enabling vivid visual sharing of classic works and reading stories.
By combining library public cultural resources with campus education, the activity inspired teenagers’ enthusiasm for reading, cultivated lifelong reading habits among young people, and built a long-term interactive platform for library-school cultural co-construction. The well-equipped lecture hall and high-definition display screen laid a solid hardware foundation for holding more regular reading exchange events in the future, continuously promoting the construction of a scholarly society in Huadu District.
